How it works

Three rules, scored from data you already have.

Connect a source once. Tempo reads the day, scores the three goals, and says what is left in one sentence.

Intervals

6 × 500 steps

Each window is 500 steps inside 10 minutes. Windows must be spaced apart, so a single long walk counts once. Tempo shows every window that landed, when the next one opens, and how many still fit before 10 pm.

Steps

10,000

The day's total, read from the source you chose. Nine thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine does not close it.

Workouts

30 minutes

One recorded session of 30 minutes or more. Sessions logged back to back are grouped, so a warm-up, a main set and a cool-down read as one workout.

What you see

Today

Three rings, and one sentence that says what is left.

Intervals

Every window that landed, with the time it closed and the room left today.

Trends

Perfect days, current and longest runs, and close rates by week, month and year.

Workouts

The last seven days, with split sessions grouped into one.

Notifications

At most three a day, never after a goal closes. Quiet hours and a weekly recap. All optional.

Sources

Which platform is connected, when it last reported, and which device steps are read from.

One source at a time

Tempo reads Apple Health on iOS, and Health Connect or Samsung Health on Android — one source at a time.

Each stored day is stamped with the source it was read from and is never re-read from another, so switching platforms leaves your history as it was.
